Carnival Pride Fire Several people on the Carnival Pride tell me that a fire occurred in the engine room of engine no. 1 last night.

One passenger described the fire as involving an explosion of the engine.

Reportedly, a highly intoxicated passenger (people are saying 30 – 35 years of age) went overboard while the Carnival cruise ship was off the coast of Cuba.

Carnival LibertyThere are reports that the Carnival Liberty cruise ship sustained an engine room fire today.

The fire took place when the cruise ship was docked in St. Thomas USVI.  Cruise passengers were reportedly evacuated ashore, some wearing life vests.
