The Defense Video Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS) reports that yesterday the Coast Guard medevaced a 71-year-old female passenger from a Carnival cruise ship near the Southwest Pass, Louisiana.

The crew of the Carnival Dream notified the Coast Guard that the female was suffering from signs of severe respiratory distress.
