This morning I received a message from a passenger on the Coral Princess that the Princess Cruises cruise ship picked up 7 Cuban migrants in a small make-shift boat.  

The photo sent to me showed what appeared to be at least one man in distress lying on his back near the bow of the

CNN is reporting that a Disney cruise ship stopped yesterday during a cruise to the Cayman Islands to pick up 12 Cubans who took to sea to leave their homeland.

The Disney Wonder was cruising from Miami to Grand Cayman when the cruise ship saw the make-shift boat full of Cubans around 8 p.m. yesterday.

The United States Coast Guard medevaced a 61 year-old woman from a NCL cruise ship near Cape Hatteras on Monday.

The Coast Guard crew was notified that a female passenger was found unconscious aboard the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship, around 1 P.M.

The United States Coast Guard medevaced a female passenger last night after she sustained a heart attack on the Grand Princess cruise ship. 

The woman was described as 57 years old. At the time of the medevac, the Princess Cruises’ ship was approximately 80 miles southwest of Monterey, California.

Cruise LifeboatTwo nights ago, the Thomson Dream stopped when the crew noticed an abandoned life raft. The cruise ship was sailing from Sardinia towards Naples. 

The ship stopped for around 40 mins. The crew pulled the life raft to the shell doors and then went aboard to inspect it. The life raft was brand new and undamaged.

The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced a woman from a NCL cruise ship approximately 165 miles east of Virginia Beach today.

The Coast Guard was called for assistance after a 30-year-old woman complained of abdominal pain.

The Coast Guard helicopter crew responded to the Norwegian Breakaway and flew the woman to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Defense Video and Imagery Distribution Services (DVIDS) reports that the United States Coast Guard medevaced a passenger passenger from a Carnival cruise ship about 115 miles southeast of Galveston yesterday morning.
