I’m a fan of Matchbox 20’s lead singer Rob Thomas. You know his hits: 3:00 AM, Someday, & Smooth with Carlos Santana. Watch She’s Gone with Daryl Hall, pretty amazing, best played loud.
So it was weird to watch an interview of Thomas talking about the upcoming Sail the Sea tour aboard a Carnival cruise ship to Nassau during the first part of December.
Its seems that Thomas may have watched too many hours of CNN’s endless "poop cruise" coverage or he suffers from PTSD after watching the Poseidon Adventure. Here’s what he says to Fuse during an interview promoting his upcoming cruise concert:
"I was pretty scared of luxury liners on vacation. As soon as it left port, I would start having a panic attack."
He adds with a smile on his face:
"You start seeing [news] about ships turning upside down, the bathroom’s not working. We’re just trying to figure out an escape clause. If something happens, I’m not going to be rude, but screw everyone else on that boat. I’m getting a helicopter, getting out of there and we’re going to move on with our lives . . .
