The number of people infected with gastrointestinal illness aboard the Ruby Princess increased to over 300 according to the Centers for Disease Control and Infection (CDC).

At least ten crew members recently tested positive for COVID-19 on Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas and Jewel of the Seas. There are also over three dozen employees under quarantine on these two cruise ships.

The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced a passenger from a Carnival cruise ship this evening near Galveston, Texas after it left port heading to Cozumel.
The Coast Guard News reports that around 7:00 P.M. today, a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew rescued a 30-year-old woman from the Carnival Valor approximately 10 miles east of Galveston
Military Technologies reports that the U.S. Coast Guard medevaced a 66 year old passenger last night. The woman was reportedly seriously injured after she fell down stairs on a Disney cruise ship at approximately 8 P.M. Monday evening. The passenger reportedly suffered a serious injury described as a skull fracture and bleeding.
