According to reports on social media, the Disney Dream violently struck the dock in Nassau, Bahamas while trying to enter a berth on Saturday, September 30th. Photographs posted on line show damage to the cruise ship’ stern above the waterline.
The PortNassauWebcam operated by the popular @PTZtv captured images of the damage to the Disney cruise ship.
A man from the Disney Dream was reported going overboard this evening. The article did not indicate whether the man was a passenger or a crew member. The person was reportedly rescued.

Earlier this week, I received information that Disney Cruises is apparently moving ahead with preliminary plans to build a cruise ship pier on an island in north Eleuthera in the Bahamas, called Egg Island.

WSVN Channel 7 reports that a 31 year old man was arrested for allegedly molesting an 11-year-old girl aboard a Disney cruise ship which sailed last week from the port of Miami.

Acquaintances of mine went on a Disney cruise in March and watched as the ship’s man overboard system was
