A video of a brawl on the Carnival Legend shows Carnival security officers and other security personnel kicking passengers while they are on the floor. Carnival officers are also shown trying to prevent other passengers from videotaping the violence.

A cruise passenger aboard the Carnival Legend notified me yesterday that the Carnival cruise ship experienced a brief power loss causing a blackout on at least her deck.
The incident occurred yesterday when the cruise ship was leaving the port of Seattle.

Numerous sources are reporting that former baseball All-Star shortstop and manager Jim Fregosi suffered a stroke during a Major League Baseball alumni cruise and was taken to a hospital in the Cayman Islands.
MLB.com reports that Mr. Fregosi, age 71, suffered the stroke while the cruise ship was sailing in the Caribbean.
