Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas was damaged after it encountered a storm early this morning during a cruise.

A dozen large windows in the Viking Crown Lounge were reportedly broken, as you can see in a video posted to YouTube. Several panes of glass are also missing from the pool deck.

Just two days ago, the news broke about a wave smashing windows out in the Waldorf Restaurant aboard the Marco Polo cruise ship killing one elderly passenger and injuring a dozen passengers and crew members. Passengers disembarking the 49 year-old former-Russian vessel this morning complained about the poor condition of the cruise ship.

Allure of the Seas LifeboatThere’s an interesting comment on the popular on line cruise community Cruise Critic that the Allure of the Seas left Nassau 2 hours late yesterday because of an issue with the lift cable of lifeboat number 1. According to this passenger, the cable to the lifeboat apparently snapped and needs repair.

NCL Breakaway Cruise ShipMultiple news sources are reporting that just weeks after its debut, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) newest ship, Breakaway, sustained damage from rough weather conditions.

The Cruise Critic website reports that the NCL Breakaway was returning to New York from Bermuda when it encountered winds exceeding 50 knots. Balcony dividers became dislodged.
